Absolutely loved this studio apartment. Right next to great hiking trails and the views from the village and apartment were spectacular. Annette and Luke were always quick to respond and they include a guest book that gives great recommendations on everything from where to hike, where to eat and other fun things to do. Would book this trip again.

We had a great stay! This was a nice, quiet place to stay away from the crowds. The place was very clean. Annette and Luke were very responsive and accommodated our last minute needs. Would definitely recommend!

Try to arrive while it’s light outside, we did not and wish we had. It is an uphill walk that is hard to navigate when you aren’t familiar with the area. There are clear photo directions provided. Follow those and don’t even bother with Google maps.

My wife and I had a great stay in the peaceful studio apartment. It was well located to the stores, restaurants, train, lift to Mannlichen, and plenty of hiking paths. We purchased the Apero Special as well - the selection of cheese, wine, and other snacks were greatly appreciated. Luke and Annette were very helpful and quick to respond whenever we had a question. We would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Wengen is a great location and we had everything we needed here. We enjoyed our days exploring and evenings sitting on our patio having dinner in and enjoying the view. Our hosts were very quick to respond and provided clear and helpful information. We hope to be back, someday!

Overall, good experience. Simple but practical. The kitchen is tiny though and at times making meal is a challenge . The only negative is the pillow, too soft. Also the mattress also lacks of support

What can we possibly say. No words are good enough to describe this lovely apartment. Truly one of the best Air bnbs we have ever stayed at.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. There were jaw-dropping views from the front and rear of the apartment giving a wow factor when looking out the window. Wengen is the perfect little mountain village, with regular trains to Lauterbrunnen, and cable car to Mannlichen, where we recommend the 1km royal walk and the 4.5 km Panoramic Trail to Kleine Scheinegg. Awesome views on both of these.
Finally our hosts Annette and Luke were a joy to deal with and communicated promptly at all times. Our first time in Switzerland and Wengen. Hopefully it will not be our last and when we return we know we want to stay here again.

The room was very clean and everything worked perfectly. We often visited the supermarket near Wengen station to buy local ingredients and cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything from pans and plates to an induction stove. It made us feel like true locals. The hot water supply was sufficient for showers, and the provided amenities were a nice touch. While there’s no air conditioning, the bed quilt was very warm, likely made from high-quality filling, and the two sheepskins provided were excellent natural warmers. We also appreciated the complimentary local beers, coffee, and tea offered by the hosts. The peacefulness at night was amazing--it felt as though even the insects were asleep.

Overall, it was an amazing stay, and we hope to return in the future.

From the time I reserved our stay at the Cosy Chalet, Luke and Annette communicated extremely well. They were always timely with their response, all the way through our stay. They provided detailed information about the chalet, area, transport, and more prior to our arrival and were always available for questions. The chalet itself was exactly as pictured. Very clean, comfortable, and had every single thing we could have needed. You can tell they have listened to prior guests and provided any additional items that were offered as suggestions previously. They truly want you to enjoy your stay to the utmost! They has extra added touches to the chalet that were also thoughtful. From the chalet you can see up the Mannlichen cable car to the ridge. We had quite a few cloudy days, but enjoyed our stay and would reserve again if we return. Thank you guys for your amazing hospitality!

Comfortable and homely stay in Wengen. Thanks to Annette and Luke for the small touches which made the stay feel special. The property is approx a 12 min walk from the train station/town centre and the instructions provided by Annette and Luke are really helpful in finding the property and the tips ie handy to get a taxi to the property if you have lots of luggage. It was nice to relax on the terrace after a day of hiking. There are also som trails behind the property. The beds were comfy with a choice of soft or firmer pillows.

If you do need to do buy some groceries the Coop supermarket in town does close at 6.30pm.

I recommend staying here, such a nice spot.

We enjoyed our stay at Chalet Luise! Annette and Luke are outstanding hosts - extremely helpful and very communicative. They gave us several tips on hikes and helped us promptly with other needs that arose. The kitchen is well equipped. Annette and Luke also very generously agreed to ship something home for us that we left at their place by accident - we are so very appreciative!! There were several special touches upon arrival (chocolate and homemade flavored nuts) that were also appreciated. This is a fabulous place to stay for those lucky enough to travel to stunning Wengen - we recommend it!

Really enjoyed our stay here, cozy as the name is and very quiet and peaceful. The cabin had all the amenities you would need and the hosts take the extra effort to detail out how to get there and how to use everything. Please consider booking a taxi from Lauterburnen if you are coming with heavy luggage - this is something the hosts recommend as well as the path is uphill from station.

Private and quiet place in Wengen.
LOCATION: About a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. But the distance is worth the peace and quiet of the area. But you will have to plan grocery shopping as the nearest Coop is at the train station.

COMMINICATION: Annette and Luke were communicative and available. Due to no fault of the hosts but only weather, we had lost power for about an hour or two. Annette gave us candles and checked in on us. She was paying attention to the updates. The power came back within the hour, but it was great to be cared for.

APARTMENT: the apartment is as described. it has everything you need for a short term stay.

We would stay again in Wengen. Thank you!

Place was nice. Location is a little bit up hill.

The space was clean and tidy and we had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The courtyard was very peaceful and we enjoyed sitting out there at night. You do have to hike up a large hill to get to the place but it’s worth it. We loved staying in Wengen, it’s a quaint and lovely town with spectacular views.

We had a great stay in Wengen and would highly recommend. The listing is 100% accurate - its a cozy airbnb up a steep hill from the train station. Our legs were tired after a full day of hiking and walking back to the airbnb but its a quaint fun town to walk through so we were pleasantly distracted by our tired legs. There is a grocery store right outside of the train station and Annette's place was fully stocked with all we needed - salt, pepper, pots, pans, dishwashing soap/sponge. We used the stove (no oven) and mini fridge quite often and it worked well for us. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

This was the cutest little airbnb in the cutest area of Switzerland. It did require about 7 minutes of walking up a pretty steep hill to get to, which may be limiting for some guests. Annette was organized, thoughtful, and responsive with local recommendations sent out ahead of time. Definitely recommend!

Luke and Annette were amazing!. Incredibly responsive both before we arrived and while we were there. Luke even met us at the train at midnight on our arrival since our flights had been so delayed and helped us get to the apartment which I think would have been almost impossible on our own at night Taxi stopped running at 10 PM. I was traveling with my 6’3“ great-nephew and they kindly provided a rollaway bed so we didn’t have to put the sofa bed in and out. I slept on the rollaway and it was very comfortable. The washer and dryer were helpful to have as we stayed for two weeks. We did require some translation help to get the proper settings! Annette let us know of a special cultural event happening at the Mannlichen that only happens every one to two years and we would’ve missed it without her letting us know. Superb hosts. I sat out each evening on our patio and enjoyed the birds and peacefulness. Wengen is a great base and Luke and Annette make it so easy.
