Rustic Modern Studio

What an amazing place and an amazing stay and experience. A wonderful property tuned to exactly what I and my teenage daughter needed, right in the heart of the most beautiful alpine and mountain scenery for hiking. Annette & Luke were wonderful hosts – communicative, friendly and responsive to all our needs. Many thanks and I would highly recommend thier amazing studio.

We loved our stay here in Wengen. The apartment is cosy and clean. The location is great with the station and town centre nearby, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning. Our host Annette was very responsive and friendly, everything was easy and pleasant. We would definitely recommend staying here for a winter or summer trip Wengen!

Very responsive, and helpful when asked how to get to certain destinations. Directions and instructions on how to use everything was very clear and detailed. Great little kitchen area, which saved us a lot of money on eating meals out. Would stay there again!

I discovered the peaceful and beautiful village of Wengen because of this place and staying here was one of the best decisions of our trip.Since I was traveling alone with my child and we had two large suitcases, I was a little worried about the uphill walk mentioned in the description. But it wasn’t a problem at all. (I’m not sure what it’s would be like in winter, but in June the weather in Wengen was perfect, and the walk was actually very pleasant.)The apartment was small, cozy, and had everything we needed. One of my favorite moments was taking a morning walk around the neighborhood . It was so peaceful and a wonderful way to start the day.The host’s guide was clear and thoughtful, so check-in was very easy.We had such a wonderful stay, and I would definitely choose this place again if I ever come back to Wengen.

We had a wonderful time in Wengen for our honeymoon. Annette and Luke were very welcoming and responsive hosts. The room was just big enough for the two of us and had everything we needed, including a washer for cleaning clothes midway through our multi country trip. The studio is a bit of a ways from the train station and does include some incline so be aware if you’re a heavy packer, the sheep along the route made for an authentic welcome to Switzerland!

We had a lovely stay at Annette and Luke’s apartment. Continuing our trip from Milan, we found it straightforward to access via train network. My goal was to find accommodations higher up than those in the valley, but not too inaccessible within the mountains; this spot checked all the boxes! It was the perfect location for several early-season hikes and trail runs, in addition to day trips to Bern, Grindewald, and other nearby towns. The studio itself had everything we needed and more (we didn’t initially plan on doing laundry, but muddy hikes proved otherwise!). Having a kitchen was great as we preferred to cook for several meals, with Coop just a few minutes away. Already planning another trip to stay in the studio during the winter season and take advantage of the ski-on/ski-off location!
